The Fraser Valley Modern Quilters Guild has made 1000s of charity quilts in the hopes of bringing some comfort to those who need it most. For years, they have donated their hand-made quilts to local, national, and international charities during times of war, famine, and natural disasters. They continue to support SARA (Society for Battered Women and Children), Archway Better for Babies, Meals on Wheels, various children’s hospitals, rehabilitation centres. Their members are the true heroes, and we value both their dedication and artistry.
Squamish Motorsports has purchased this beautiful quilt to raise money for the Squamish Food Bank. We value how much the Squamish community does for locals in need, and recognize that more can be done. We also want to thank the Squamish Chamber of Commerce for helping connect local businesses who support the community; many of whom have made generous donations for this fundraiser.
