The reverse chine hull, combined with the 1/4″ 5086 marine-grade aluminum bottom plate and 3/16″ 5086 marine-grade aluminum side plate, ensures durability and stability in various water conditions.
Other notable features of the Salish 27’3 Maquinna series include side sheet stiffeners, lifting strakes, variable degree deadrise (20° at transom), and an outboard bracket/hull extension with a full-width swim grid. The interior framing provides structural integrity, while the insulation of the hull with foam flotation enhances safety and buoyancy. The 3/16″ welded aluminum floors with cockpit drains effectively shed rainwater, ensuring a dry and comfortable environment.
