The 2027 Kawasaki KX250F is a race-focused motocross bike engineered for riders who demand responsive power, precise handling and advanced technology on the track. Built around Kawasaki’s proven KX racing platform, the KX250F combines a high-performance 249cc engine with a lightweight aluminum chassis, adjustable suspension and rider-focused electronics designed to help you push harder with confidence.
At its heart is a 249cc liquid-cooled, DOHC four-valve single-cylinder engine featuring a 44 mm throttle body and dual fuel injectors. Kawasaki has engineered the KX250F to deliver strong power across the rev range, giving riders responsive acceleration out of corners and the performance needed to attack straights and challenging sections of the track.
Advanced rider technology includes Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), Launch Control Mode and selectable Power Modes, allowing riders to adapt the bike’s performance to changing track conditions and riding preferences. Smartphone connectivity adds another level of convenience and control, while ERGO-FIT adjustable components help riders personalize the cockpit for a more comfortable and confidence-inspiring riding position.
The lightweight aluminum perimeter frame is paired with a 49 mm inverted front fork offering adjustable compression and rebound damping. At the rear, Kawasaki’s New Uni-Trak suspension provides adjustable high- and low-speed compression damping, rebound damping and spring preload for extensive suspension tuning.
