Powered by a 636cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16-valve inline-four engine, the ZX-6R produces 124 PS, increasing to 129 PS with Ram Air. Its additional displacement provides strong mid-range performance while maintaining the high-revving character that makes Kawasaki’s Ninja supersport motorcycles so exciting to ride.
A lightweight pressed-aluminum perimeter frame, fully adjustable 41 mm Showa SFF-BP inverted front fork and Bottom-Link Uni-Trak rear suspension deliver responsive handling and stability through tight corners and demanding riding conditions. Dual 310 mm front disc brakes with radial-mounted monobloc four-piston calipers provide exceptional stopping performance.
Advanced electronic rider assistance includes Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), selectable Power Modes, integrated Riding Modes and the Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) for clutchless upshifts. An Assist & Slipper Clutch helps provide smoother downshifts, while the available Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-Lock Brake System (KIBS) adds braking confidence.
